Where can I find a cordless heating pad that operates on batteries?
I’M LOOKING FOR A FRIEND CONFINED TO A WHEELCHAIR. HE NEEDS ONE THAT IS BATTARY POWERED TO ALLOW HIM FULL MOBILITY. THOSE PADS THAT ARE WARMED IN A MICROWAVE ARE NOT AN OPTION…THANKS.
That would require a very big battery. Get the wattage/voltage/apmperage off of a an electric blanket, then you can figure it out. My guess is not doable for any kind of extended time. He should check with a specialty store(wheelchairs, walkers, etc,) they may have options for him.
