Which is better a Dodge Grand Caravan SXT or a Ford Freestar SEL?
The Dodge is new. It has stow’n'go in both the second and third row seats, so it can be converted to a cargo van if needed. Or you can camp out in the van on long road trips and save some hotel fees.
The Ford is one year old. It has a fold in floor third seat and fold and tumble second seat. This gives a bit less camping room in the back. The Ford has all kinds of cool extras: power doors, 6 CD player, 3 zone climate control, and lots of other stuff.
The Dodge has a smaller engine.
The Ford cost $2,000 less.
i would say u were a kid to ask such a question but i have to ponder why a kid would care about a minivan. they are about the same in terms of reliability and drivability. the dodges have this nasty habit of losing transmissions around 80k. the fords tend to have numerous little things go bad that start to add up. i would go with the ford because chrysler pisses me off making the same bad transmission for 20 years. their attitude towards the consumer is unbelievable.
