I broke my leg recently. Do I smell?
I broke my leg recently, and had plates put inside to repair the breaks. After a few months of being on antibiotics, I noticed a peculiar odor about me, thinking it was because of the antibiotics. If I put a finger in my mouth, I noticed a bitter taste. I wasn’t sure if it was because of the antibiotics or the rubber on my wheel chair wheels or on my crutches handles. I have been off of the antibiotics for several weeks, and the odor is still there and sometimes affects my taste. Some times the skin on my face feels like there’s something on it and I think that’s where the smell is coming from. I mentioned this to someone, and they said they noticed nothing. I mentioned it to my doctor, and after a discomforting silence, he said he had never heard of anything like that. Am I crazy? Am I imagining this smell? It’s driving me crazy. If anybody else has experienced this, or knows anything about this, please let me know.
antibiotics really screw with your bodies natural processes. it’s important to eat lots of yogurt and get on a acidophilos. also, drink a ton of water.
