1998 dodge van 2500 series problem?
We were driving up and down a hilly area, when all of a sudden the van died. We replaced the distributer, the pick-up assembly, all of the plugs, and the starter. And with each part it would start, then die again. It acts as though it is flooded, but it is not. Has anyone had this problem, or could anybody give us some concrete suggestions, besides bringing it in to a shop and getting overcharged.
you need to have the computer scanned to see what codes it might give you,if you keep throwing parts at it you may never get it repaired, and still have the same problem, that could be a fuel delivery problem, but without at least having it scanned your just adding parts to it right now and still not getting it repaired, not all shops will rip you off,it might pay you to have a scan done to at least save time and money on repairing it.good luck.
