how do you combine two battery packs together?
i have two 8.4v battery packs, can you combine them to make the volts double? if so how?
they are airsoft batteries
Okay, this is the first time that I have ran across the term, airsoft batteries. I’m assuming that they are rechargable units. If you want to double the output voltage from 8.4 volts to 16.8 volts, you will need to connect the negative lead of one battery to the positive lead of the second one. In series. That will leave you with one extended positive lead and one extended negative lead. The voltage across the extended leads should be 16.8 volts.
However, you will need to charge these two batterys separately, and then reconnect them as described above.
