Full of depression and lost what to do next?
I am a 38 year old female who is tired of being beat on by her 11 year old son.And defending myself from knives to flying chairs. I am tired of bruises and being called horrible names because I say no to his demands. He is bipolar with conduct disorder and impulse disorder[I think those three thing probably go hand and hand.] I do not know what to do anymore sadly he is bigger then i am and He just getting worst . Tried hospital and residential treatment and nothing is working. I just do not know what to do.
Admit him once again to a hospital, and keep him there for 72 hours. This is legal and they will try to work things out in this time. Though since you are really getting hurt I suggest you send him to a juvenile facility. This is not a bad thing, he can, here, learn to interact with other special needs children. This would be good for you and for him, it will keep him on a schedule and you can visit. Think of it like a summer camp with the help he needs. Now some people say, this is my baby, I cannot do that, he needs me. Think of this, you need to send him, because of that, if he needs you, he needs you in good health. I would look into any facility near you, and have a talk with a worker there .
