Speed controller for 24v wheelchair motor (for robot).?
I would like to have precise control of exactly how fast the motor moves my robot. What is the best way to do this? Kind of new to most of this so detail would help me a lot, but any help would be appreciated!
If its a DC motor, all you have to do is regulate the voltage. Change of voltage = change of speed. Reversal of poles = reversal of rotation.
If it is an AC motor, you will have to adjust the frequency using a VFD (variable frequency drive).
