Where can I find replacement casters for a Regency Allure desk chair?
I recently came across an old desk chair by the side of the road. It wasn’t in too bad a shape. Two of the casters were broken and the seat needed fixed. Looking it up, I found that it is a Regency Allure. http://www.regencyof.com/images/stories/allure.jpg
But I’m having problems finding replacement casters for it. It is not the model in the picture. I guess it’s an older model. It’s a bit beat up and well used, but with new casters it could have a whole new life. So any help would be appreciated. I’m pretty sure it uses grip neck casters. It’s just I’m not finding any that match.
Most Big Box and full-line hardware stores carry a line of casters that will fit most things. Bring a sample with you for shaft dimension and size and get the closest you can find to it. You may also be able to replace the base to use another type.
